Fitbit. Apple watch. Ties. They’re all in a category of Father’s Day gift I’d call “been there, done that.” It’s so hard to find unique Father’s Day gifts, especially for the guy who either doesn’t need anything or really doesn’t want anything. Even if Doug doesn’t want anything, it doesn’t seem right to get him nothing, though we’re not big holiday celebrators (other than birthdays and anniversaries). We don’t go all out for Father’s Day and Mother’s day, but we do like getting each other fun, unique presents we wouldn’t ever buy ourselves. 1. Marvel Iron Man mug: For the superhero dad in your life, he needs a superhero mug. What guy wouldn’t want to drink his coffee from a cool mug like this?
2. Cool shoes you actually approve of: I love these Nike Air Max 90’s, and they’re great for playtime and for a casual night out. They come in millions of colors, so find them in the color he likes. I’m partial to black myself.
3. A coffee subscription: Wouldn’t he love to get coffee delivered to his door every month? This is a subscription your man will love.
4. Non-stinky cologne: I’m not a huge fan of cologne in general. It’s always so overpowering and I feel like I can smell it for hours after the person is gone. I love this one from Atelier Cologne, it’s subtle. And if you’ve never tried Atelier Cologne, their women’s perfume is incredible. This one is my favorite.
5. Old school Sega Genesis: Seriously, this is a gift for both of you. Because Sonic the Hedgehog. Need I say more?
6. Kiehl’s Facial Fuel: At a certain point, you have to start taking care of your skin. Men, women, everyone. And anything by Kiehl’s is amazing in my book. My husband swears by this stuff, and I’m pretty sure I got it for him for Father’s Day one year.
7. A cool weekender: I absolutely love my weekender bag and use it all the time. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway. Get him this bag as a little hint to him that he needs to take you somewhere fun.
8. Smartphone photo lab: This is so cool for the guy obsessed with his phone who already has every phone accessory.
9. Zoku ice ball molds: If your guy is into scotch, these are amazing; they keep the drink cold without too much ice meltage. Get him this and a bottle of his favorite scotch, and you’ll be his favorite mama ever.
10. Car washes: If your guy is obsessed with his ride, get him a package of washes to his favorite car wash so he can keep his whip looking good.
