Let’s talk about the safest carseats and strollers for a moment, shall we? There are many, many options out there, but I’d always heard the brand Maxi Cosi mentioned anytime anyone brought up carseat safety. I had never owned a Maxi Cosi stroller or carseat, which is why I was so excited to test drive their new Adorra Travel System. I had to see for myself if it was really as comfortable and well-made as I’d heard.

Summer Fashion

It is seriously 100+ degrees here every. single. day. And we’re all melting. In order to stay cool and comfortable, I have to wear light, flowly clothing that breathes throughout the day, whether I’m walking with the girls or picking up from camp. These denim shorts from Madewell have been in heavy rotation all Summer, and because it’s going to stay hot here for many more months, I’m sure they’ll continue to get plenty of use.

These rose gold Supergas are my favorite, and I get asked about them everywhere I go. I’ve been stockpiling Supergas for awhile now, and this is definitely my favorite pair. I love the color, and they’re so comfortable. I even wear them with little cotton dresses sometimes, it’s a great Summer casual look.

And this hat (also from Madewell) is my favorite Summer purchase. It’s the perfect size and it’s incredible lightweight. You can barely even tell you’re wearing it. It provides great coverage, which I need in the pool with the kids, and it brings an outfit together when dry shampoo just isn’t cutting it.

Test Driving the Adorra Travel System

First, the Adorra Stroller is roomy and comfortable. I love the material in the seat itself. It’s comfortable and breathable for those hot Texas Summer days. Tova was as happy as a clam riding around in this stroller, even in 100 degree heat. The canopy is extra long, so it blocks the sun very well. The seat is easy to pop in and out of the base and can face forwards or backwards. Tova loves to face forward, and she couldn’t be happier looking at all the trees in our neighborhood. I did have some trouble collapsing the base, but I love that this stroller is lightweight and easy to lift in and out of the car. The stroller supports a child up to 50 pounds, so even Naomi can take it for a spin.

I also love that it can fully recline, in case baby needs to nap and you’re on the go. It has a safe 5-point harness, and height-adjustable handlebars for a shortie like me or a 6-footer like my husband.

The Adorra Travel System comes with the Maxi Cosi Mico Max 30 car seat, which is definitely one of the most lightweight carseats out there, coming in at only 8 pounds. It’s easy to pop in and out of the car, and like the stroller, it’s lined with incredibly soft, breatheable material, which we definitely need around here.
