Who’s already doing some Back to School shopping, raise your hand? Down in Texas we start school so much earlier than other parts of the country (and end earlier too), so my little one actually starts on Wednesday! Can you believe that? Summer just flew right by, didn’t it? This Sunday, we have Meet the Teacher, and then Wednesday’s the big day! Naturally, I’ve already been doing some Back to School shopping for Naomi, because she’s got to have a cute outfit to go with her big first day.

I usually stick with cute neutrals she can mix and match throughout the year, especially when it comes to shoes. Those gold Geox sneakers are insanely cute, and Naomi hasn’t wanted to take them off since they came in the mail. Did, I mention they LIGHT UP? What 2 year old doesn’t want shoes that have wings and lights on them?

I love that most of these pieces can be worn throughout the year as layers, because where we live, it’s basically still Summer. We’re still having 100 degree days, and I don’t really see any end in sight, but I know it’ll be Winter before we know it. I don’t really want to have to buy her a ton of new stuff it I don’t have to.
