Happy Valentine’s Day! I cannot believe we’re already here… another big holiday down, another month in 2017 practically over. But I love this day. It’s a reminder that we both love and are loved. And what would we be without the people we so appreciate and care about?

I loved these pictures from Kelly, the blogger behind The Vintage Blonde. Her daughter’s sweet facial expressions, the beautiful setting… I only wish we lived anywhere near a desert to capture more pics like this. It felt appropriate to post them on a day like today, because they really do exude love and tell the story of adventuring together, which is really what parenting is all about: a mother and child going on life’s great adventure together.

She couldn’t be cuter in our Cosette Dress, which has been kind of a blogger favorite this season. It’s stylish but sweet; when I design something that’s a little more fashion forward, I always want to make sure it still represents what childhood’s all about. The fact that she paired it with those cute boots is the icing on the cake.
