Shop Small Blogger Linkup – Week 1

It’s really no secret, I love small business. It’s fascinating to see how people turn their dreams into reality because there’s really no one way to do it. I’m involved in a number of blogger and #shopsmall groups, and one thing I’ve noticed is that everyone supports one another (for the most part, heh). And linkups are an incredibly easy, fun way to meet new people and discover new brands, so I thought, why not do a linkup that highlights some of the small businesses we all love? This is an opportunity to reach new audiences and share your favorite brands with the world. It’s a win-win for everyone.

Here’s how it works:

1. Simply blog about your favorite small business and add the post to the inlinkz linkup below! Your post can be in any format — a review, a photoshoot, a list, a photo collage — as long as you feature as small business. And what is a small business? Well, not Target. But use your best judgement. Any category will be accepted! Tech, beauty, fashion, kidswear, home decor, photography… sky’s the limit. Scoll to the bottom of this post, click the “Submit” button and follow the super-easy steps.

2. Shop Small Blogger Linkups happen the 4th Wednesday of every month from here on out. We encourage you to click around, discover new blogs and new small businesses through this linkup.

3. The two people whose link gets the most clicks will be the guest co-hosts the following month, so click away! Please visit at least THREE other links.

4. The hosts will each select a favorite post from the previous month to be featured in a photo collage at the top of the next month’s linkup. Those links will also be featured on various social media accounts.

5. You can submit as many links as you like!

6. We encourage you to follow your hosts on social media as well as through their blogs.

7. SPREAD THE WORD about this awesome linkup to others who’d want to participate.

Your co-hosts:

Jessica is a mama, wife, business owner of Mint & Birch, and a new blogger.  She makes customizable nest necklaces with eggs that can represent loved ones or children as well as simple stamped jewelry.

What was once a past time hobby, has slowly turned into a full fledge business that is growing by the day. She prides herself on making the best of any situation and uplifting others along the way.

She loves this community of handmade shops and entrepreneurs, and all the incredible friendships she has made. Find her blogging at Red Poppy Photos.

Jennifer is the momma behind Fruit Snacks and Flannel and shop owner over at Livie Loo’s Bowtique.  She is married to my high school sweetheart {S} and has two rambunctious little ones {Livie and Landon}.  She has a passion for interior design, small businesses, and children’s fashion.  Occasionally  you’ll find her talking about brownies and red wine.  Visit her blog www.fruitsnacksandflannel.com to learn more about her fruit snack and flannel-loving family.
