The Week in Review

Man, it’s been a busy one. You know those days where you look up and it’s 6 pm and you seriously have no idea what you’ve been doing? I had a few of those this week. I’ve had my head down, trying to knock things off my to-do list all week, and I think it paid off because the list is dwindling. Nothing feels better than accomplishing the things you know you have to accomplish, right?

Yesterday, we launched the cutest contest with Live Sweet Shop. Her point of view is so unique and her shop is so adorable, you’ve GOT to check out her feed. Want to win this presh whale Boho Top from cuteheads and this cutie owl from Live Sweet? Entering on Instagram couldn’t be easier… click the image and follow the instructions to win!

We shipped out tons of orders this week. I’m tired just thinking about it! But I’m so excited for so many little ones to receive their new cuteheads pieces. We’re working on a huge batch of orders now, so if you ordered from the Back to Basics Collection, your order is shipping SO soon, promise! We’ve got a lot of custom orders headed to new homes this week too; I wish I could be there to see the looks on your faces when you pull the tulle from the box. <3

In other news, because I have a LOT of free time on my hands right now, I’m putting together a new seriesĀ for the blog where I’ll be featuring some of my favorite small shops, their journeys into entrepreneurship, their struggles and their triumphs called “10 Questions with…” If you own a creative small business, and you’d like toĀ beĀ featured, email us! Info (at) cuteheads [dot] com.

In non-business-related news, today is our wedding anniversary. 4 years, you guys. 4. YEARS. Looking at these pictures, this doesn’t even feel like my life. I look at them and think, “did that even happen?” Remember when marriage was all about us and going to dinner and making travel plans? Because I barely do! Even though we’re busier and have more responsibility than ever4 years into marriage and almost 10 into knowing my husband, I’m more sure than ever that I made an amazing choice, and I’m so glad he chose me back. There have been so many changes for both of us (both external and internal), and change can be so hard on a marriage. But we’ve managed to get through everything an anything and still like each other, which I’m not sure a lot of people can say.Ā On top of it, I still love the things about him that I did when we first met: he’s the hardest working person I know, he’s the most generous and will do anything for anyone, he’s hilarious, and now I know that he’s a better dad to our daughter than even I could have imagined.

It’s been awhile since I’ve watched our wedding video, but it’s still my favorite movie ever šŸ˜‰ If you feel like watching the highlight reel, here it is.Ā 31 Films filmed our wedding, and we still love this video more than ever. 90K views on Vimeo… I guess people like watching videos of other people’s weddings! Of course, 85K of them are probably mine.

  1. Absolutely love your wedding photos! I am so jealous! Everything looks so gorgeous and your dress is so stunning! I also love supporting small shops. My daughter is a brand rep for many instagram shops. Soon I will be adding these shops to my blog!
