The Week in Review

What a week (or so) it’s been. I’m going to need a vacation from life in about two weeks… Anyone want to give me a night at a hotel and free babysitting? 😂 Really, I’m not complaining; it’s all wonderful stuff. I’m trying to squeeze in as much as possible over the next two months before this child comes. And I keep thinking I have a full two months, but who knows! Naomi was 3 days late and I had to be induced. I keep thinking I’ll have the same experience this time, but you never know.

First of all, today I’m taking over @wellroundedNY‘s Instagram feed! Do you follow them? These two ladies have an amazing feed, featuring lots of beautiful mamas & bumps. I’m honored to be there today, so stop in & say hello. This past Friday, I took over @clubmomme‘s Instagram feed & had so much fun sharing my Hanukkah traditions.

One of my goals for my 32nd year was to get my office organized, and guess what… IT’S HAPPENING. Yesterday marked the start of a complete office makeover, beginning with the installation of a custom packing and shipping station that fits all of my cuteheads shipping material perfectly. I’ve been dreaming of a bright white room where I can do product photography, hold meetings, have employees, and I can’t believe it’s happening. I’ve basically been working in a glorified storage room where we put all of our unpacked boxes and unneeded furniture when we moved two years ago, so this is big. Big things coming for cuteheads in 2016.

We went to the cutest Hanukkah party.

I completed the cool installation I’d been wanting to do in the entryway of our house! What do you think?

This insane hot pink acrylic chandelier from Chandelier by NK is the centerpiece for the last cuteheads styled shoot of the year, happening tomorrow. I don’t want to give anything away, but lots of awesome local & handmade brands are involved and this one’s going to be extra cute.

Have a great week!

  1. I really like your post. I am not a mother so I can’t relate with the child thing but I was a babysitter for 10 years so I know kids just a little bit. I love your decorations. I was wondering how you got those lights (I think that is what they are) to stick up.

  2. I’m super excited for cuteheads.com. Your dresses make me with I had a little girl to dress them in. I do have a cute girl in my life that might need a new dress though. That chandelier is adorable!

  3. All your pictures are so pretty! I fell ya though – MG was 5 days late and so I’m assuming this one will be too – but what if he’s early and comes in 2 weeks and I’m not prepared at all? haha so much to worry about!
