I admit wholeheartedly that I LOVE pumpkin as much as the next blogger. I’m not a big fan of chocolate, but throw it into some pumpkin bread, and that’s pretty much my Kryponite. Have you ever smelled homemade pumpkin bread? NO? Make yourself some immediately. That is your homework. Even if only for the smell.
It’s not QUITE yet Fall here in Southern Texas, but we’re close. I can feel it in my bones (and I’m not sweating like I just took a spin class walking from my car to the grocery store). One of my favorite things to make is this Pumpkin Turkey Chili, it’s in heavy rotation in our house this time of year, and I’ll be making it so soon. I’m also keeping a list of a boatload of pumpkin recipes I want to make this year, because pumpkin bread only scratches the surface of how good pumpkin can be in pretty much everything.
I do love a good Pumpkin Spice Latte, but sometimes you need MORE. More pumpkin, more! And to be honest, I haven’t had a lot of time in the kitchen lately. My daughter doesn’t even think I know how to use the oven. She told me so herself. But I plan to. I stocked up on all the necessary baking supplies. I’ll show her! So in honor of #PumpkinWeek, here’s my roundup of my must-make, highly pinnable pumpkin recipes this Fall:
Pumpkin Cheesecake Whoopie Pies, by Dizzy, Busy and Hungry
Cinnamon Spiced Pumpkin Muffins with Walnut Crumble, from Bibby’s Kitchen @ 36
Peanut Butter Cup Pumpkin Bread, by Crazy for Crust
Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars, from That Skinny Chick Can Bake
Traditional Pumpkin Pie, from Uteki
Cold Brew Pumpkin Spice Frappe, from Will Frolic for Food
Pumpkin Spice French Toast, from Cooking Divine
Mini Pumpkin Moon Cakes, from Thirsty for Tea
No Churn Pumpkin Cookie Butter Ice Cream, from If the Spoon Fits
