Greetings Monday! I hope everyone survived daylight savings time. Seriously, who is still making this a thing? It’s totally ridiculous that we lose an hour… I need that hour! I need it to sleep, and right now, I need it to put the finishing touches on the new cuteheads SS16 Prep Eclectic Collection, launching TOMORROW at 7 pm CST! I’m absolutely in love with this collection; it’s kids fashion at its finest, you guys. I considered not launching a SS16 collection, due to the craziness of baby #2’s arrival, but truth be told, I loved it too much not to put it out into the world. I know monochrome and muted is all the rage, but I simply cannot and will not avoid color, especially when it comes to kids clothes. Pictured here are the ‘Briar’ Dress (the blue and white) and the ‘Piper’ Dress (red and blue seersucker).

I’m so excited about the new collection, but due to the circumstances, it’ll be VERY limited release. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, so stay tuned for an official release date. ❤️

This collection was inspired by this amazing and funky floral print that I knew I had to have the moment I laid eyes on it. I basically built the collection around that, and what emerged was a mix of preppy and funky prints and styles, hence the name of the collection: Prep Eclectic. My good friend and photographer shot each look on her gorgeous daughter Isla, who you’ve seen here many a time, and I love that each look is styled with such bright accessories; it’s exactly how envision this collection. Bright, Springy and fun.

Because of my limited time these days, I will NOT be restocking once the collection is sold out. What that means is that if you don’t snag the piece you want in time, I cannot make you one. I repeat: I cannot make you one! I have several other big projects in the works, which I can’t wait to share with you, and in order to get those done in the coming weeks, I’ll be limiting production.
