Wearing dresses from the cuteheads Spring 2020 collection
My friends, I have a confession to make:
I am VERY sick of cooking, which is what brings me to my Nurture Life review today.
Nurture Life is the meal delivery service just for kids. The premise is that they provide healthy, nutritionally balanced meals that actually taste good delivered to your home.
Coronavirus has been keeping me and my family (and yours, I’m sure) inside for almost a full month at this point, and I’ve been cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m not sure when my kids became too good for frozen waffles, but they’re asking for homemade pancakes for breakfast and salmon for lunch.
It’s a LOT of little (and big) messes, setups and cleanups. I love doing these things for my family, but I admit I am getting exhausted and we’re not even close to the end of this thing yet. Time to conserve some energy and some sanity.
Enter Nurture Life.

I can tell you that these meals are pediatric dietitian-approved and shipped cold, directly to your door. You can pick the plan that works for you. There are lots of plans to choose from.
You can filter meals by age, by vegetarian/meat/fish and by which types of food you want to omit. One of my children has severe food allergies, so we selected egg-free, nut-free and sesame-free. A meal service that allows us to filter out foods that my youngest daughter can’t eat gets bonus points from me right from the get go.
The meals arrived at the perfect time; I was about two seconds away from putting a frozen pizza in the oven. I admit, I was a little skeptical. I have two relatively picky eaters who have, over time, become more comfortable with more foods. But I wasn’t sure how they’d feel about healthy chicken nuggets and mashed sweet potatoes.
Nevertheless, we went for it.
Full disclosure: I was not able to let the photographer into my house because of social distancing, so you’re getting iPhone pics and videos from my super cool iPhone. And Nurture Life gifted me these products, but the review is 100% my own and I promise I’d tell you the truth.
Nurture Life Review
We first tried the pot roast and mashed potatoes… instant winner. My girls were actually fighting over it, and we had to heat up another one. I admit, my husband and I both ate some and declared it delicious. Not kid food good, but actual good.
We also tried the chicken nugget meal (egg-free!) with mashed sweet potatoes, and I was completely shocked to see both my girls not only try but really like the sweet potatoes. The chicken disappeared quickly too.
My older daughter said she wanted me to make sweet potatoes for her the next day. What?!
Guys, I was genuinely surprised and delighted by Nurture Life. The food is excellent, the product is high quality, it’s packaged in a way that feels safe to bring into my home, and it gave me a break from cooking. For me, these are all reasons why we will definitely be ordering again.
If you’d like to try it too, you can use this link to order Nurture Life and enter code ESTHER at checkout. You’ll get $30 off your first two orders (a $60 value).
If you try it, let me know what you think! Share your own Nurture Life review with me on Instagram, Facebook or in the cuteheads VIP Facebook group.
I hope you and your family are staying safe and sound at home.
