We’ve had extreme flooding here in Houston this past week, and it made me even more grateful for the roof over my head and my home safe home. Not everyone has that. For some, home is the most dangerous place of all.
If a picture says a thousand words, how much does one picture + two incredibly important words say? It says that you care about your community. It says you care about those who don’t think they have a voice. It says you care about the children who are innocent victims of domestic violence.
Today, Wednesday May 27th, 2015, share your picture with hashtag #EndAbuse and stand up for those less fortunate than you are and let them know that Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse exists to help them get out of domestic violence situations. You never know who around you is in need of help. Encourage others to do it too.
Together, we will spread awareness and use our voices for good.
