The Week in Review

Hi, and happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was a bit crazy. I’m 37 weeks pregnant now and my husband was out of town, so it was just me and a wild maniac of a 2 year old. It made me really appreciate how much he does around here and how much I depend on him, especially these days. So thanks honey!

This past week, my friends threw me a surprise sprinkle! Never in a million years would I ask for or expect a second baby shower — I had a lovely shower first time around — and I’m not a second shower kind of gal. But my girlfriends got together and threw me the most special (and delicious) dinner, and it was just what I needed.

I’ve basically been living at the fabric store, getting ready to launch the SS16 cuteheads collection (details coming soon, make sure you’re signed up for emails at cuteheads.com to be the first to order!). I kind of told myself I wouldn’t be releasing a SS16 collection, but I have so many ideas… I couldn’t help myself. It’s almost done, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. It’s going to be VERY limited edition, with little to no restocking, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

I loved this little buffalo plaid top we made for a very special little lady’s first trip overseas. I already had tons of red buffalo plaid in stock for a dress that’s being included in this season’s collection, so it was a great fit. I kind of love it for Valentine’s Day too.

I couldn’t help but share a pic of the gorgeous Sloan, the daughter of Sloan & Co. owner & my friend Marissa, from their beautiful family shoot. She’s wearing the cuteheads ‘Eden’ Dress. Pretty incredible, right?

monochrome nursery decor

New baby’s monochrome nursery is FINALLY coming together. Wallpaper is up and walls are painted! Now to get some furniture in there…

Game of Thrones costume for baby's first birthday party

My best friend threw her one year old a Game of Thrones-themed birthday party, and when your bff tells you she needs a custom Game of Thrones outfit and she wants you make it, you make it. I’ve never seen the show, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. We had the best time celebrating with him!

Cheers to a great week ahead. xo

  1. You’re so close Momma! Almost baby time! How exciting! And how fun that you’re friends threw you another shower! That’s the best! And your baby room looks amazing! Although I’m somewhat biased because of that print 😉 xox Christine

  2. SO sweet of your friends to throw you a surprise sprinkle! And can we discuss the nursery?! Is it weird that I want that wallpaper and paint for myself? Can’t wait to see the finished product! Looks awesome. xo Julie
