Behind the Scenes at cuteheads™

Happy Monday, my friends! Last week was quite a week here at cuteheads HQ. Ever have one of those weeks where technology is just NOT your friend? I can’t tell you why, but it was one technical disaster after the next. I spent the weekend playing catch-up and I think I’m somewhere between “1000 things to do” and “500 things to do,” which is better than the 10,000 I started with. Now if I could only get through my inbox…

We’re working hard on our newest cuteheads collection for FW15,  “Back to Basics” to be released in the next couple of weeks. It’s actually a bit of a departure from what we’ve done this Summer, so I think you’re going to be surprised and excited by it.

cuteheads just celebrated 3 YEARS in business! How in the world has it been three years? Time flies when you’re having fun! To celebrate, we’ve got a big styled shoot on Wednesday, and we’re bringing together some of my favorite Houston brands as well as the children of some of my favorite bloggers and business owners to make this extra special. I can’t wait to show you the details! Each child will be wearing a custom cuteheads dress designed just for her. Want to see a sneak peak of one of them? We handmade that flower with pearl center, and the luxe shimmery purple fabric is to die for.

We’re up to our ears in collabs and partnerships, most of which I can’t share yet, but will as soon as I’m able. It’s always been my philosophy that it’s best to share something after it’s done, just on the off-chance it doesn’t work out. That’s the superstition believer in me I guess.

I’ll leave you with a pic of my #1 employee, the top dog, our Chief Cuteness Officer Winnie. She takes all kinds of abuse, especially from my boss (the toddler) but she keeps on trucking.

Hope you have a great week, and cheers (with coffee) to no internet or computer breaking this week. xo

  2. Yes I have most definitely had one of those weeks…They’re frustrating, but they definitely make us stronger and sometimes more patient. So many beautiful colors and I love those little sandals!

    1. Definitely! This has been a MUCH better week, but I still have a Skype conference call tomorrow, still plenty of time for things to go wrong 😉

  3. I love that sweet little pink dress! Thanks for linking up to Blogger Brags. I have pinned your post to the BB pinterest board.
